Relieve Stress & Anxiety with Simple Breathing Techniques

Hey Dr. MC Mary here. And I wanted to quickly 
go over a little tool that you can use to help   de-stress the mind de-stress the body. In 
those times, when you're feeling a little   bit overwhelmed and you just need a little 
bit, some little bit extra help to help calm   down that central nervous system and what 
this is it's called the physiological sigh. And you can witness this. If you have any 
type of pet, watch them right before they   go to sleep and you'll see them do this. 
And what this does is it actually allows   you. Reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in 
your blood and increase the amount of oxygen,   which is gonna have a calming 
effect. And it's gonna affect   that parasympathetic nervous system that 
rest and digest and upregulate that more. So what you do to do this 
is you do two short inhales   followed by a long exhale, and it goes like this So give that a try.

Whenever 
you're feeling a little bit   overwhelmed and it should help 
reduce your levels of stress,   help you calm down that central nervous system.
